Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. In this key role, you will work alongside vendor specialists to provide expert technical and domain expertise. They are looking for someone that is willing to step up, take technical ownership and develop a deep understanding of one of our core future platforms. You will need to remain continually aware of business, infrastructure, and technical issues to aid in the development and implementation of innovative solutions and anticipate future direction in the tech industry and relate that to current or upcoming requirements. Essential skills:
- Java (min 7 years)
- Apache Camel
- J2EE, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JAX-RS
- Jasper Reports
- SQL (Oracle)
- Micro-services and Restful API development experience.
- Unit and API testing frameworks e.g. Junit5, Mockito, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Selenium
- Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven
- AWS, Kafka, Redis, Jersey (preferred additional skills).
The location of the role is in Auckland.
