Technology Support Officer – TEC054809SY

Our client is looking for a Technology Support Officer. This is a rare opportunity to join the Technology Services Team, working with an innovative and empowered level 2 support team, where we help in delivering best service to the business, while being able to contribute to the greater technology offering for one of Australia’s leading and most trusted brands. As a Technology Support Officer, you can expect to:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by taking ownership of level 2 support tickets
  • Drive a high level of technology support to the business
  • Ensure all internal service levels agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded
  • Drive analytical and creative thinking to continually improve processes and procedures
  • Provide expert advice, troubleshooting and support on various technology queries
  • Liaise with customers to proactively assess their needs to improve the effectiveness of the systems they utilise
  • Liaise with other Technology teams to ensure customers are receiving the best possible service from the entire Technology department
  • Work alongside other regions to ensure examples of best practise are shared allowing for greater efficiencies across the Technology function
  • Ensure compliance of security policies across hardware and software
  • Undertake a variety of Technology projects, including new stores, refits and rollouts
  • Travel to offsite locations (includes metro and regional stores) for support and fit out of technology equipment, projects and proactive initiatives
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide instructional guides for Technology-based initiatives
  • Deliver technical onboarding for all new Support Office Team Members
  • Ensure vendor SLAs are within expectations, with escalation as appropriate.

The location of the role is in Sydney.

You must have the legal right to live and work in the location this job is advertised in.  This means you must have citizenship, residency, or a current work visa.  You must already live in the area, supply a local phone number, and be available for interview at short notice.  You must have excellent communication skills and a high standard of both written and spoken English.
