Our client is looking for a Development Manager. This role requires leading complex software development projects, delivering new products and features for release, and supporting existing customers. You also have an opportunity to manage a diverse small team of software engineers and QA analysts. Your day will look like:

• Plan, execute, monitor and successfully deliver software development projects
• Contribute to defining the product strategy
• Continually improve our Agile development processes and implement best practice in software development
• Managing your team, providing clear goals and context
• Create personal development plans, recruit, and manage overall performance of team.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Minimum 5 years project management and people management experience
• A deep understanding of Agile development methodologies, SCRUM, is essential
• The ability to solve complex problems and deliver complex software projects
• The ability to clearly articulate technical challenges, goals and solutions.

The location of the role is in Palmerston North.
