Our client is looking for a Field IT Support. Reporting the Group IT Manager, the role of IT Field Technician, is responsible for the installation, maintenance and inspection of IT and communications equipment and software in the field environment. You will work independently and be required to work closely with stakeholders to facilitate your activities, while minimising the impact on their operations. 
 
About you:

• This role would suit someone who has experience in field cabling, from an IT background
• You will have the ability to be hands on, and familiar with using hand and power tools
• You will be comfortable working and living in harsh, isolated locations, and will ideally have worked away from home for extended periods previously
• Registered Cabler/structured cabling experience
• VSAT Satellite and MATV experience
• IT Networking skills are advantageous
• You will be a self-starter who can work independently and manage time well.  

The location of the role is in Sydney.
