Our client is looking for a Scrum Master. They’ve been using SCRUM for many years. They are pretty good at the basics of agile software development, and are looking for a Scrum Master to work with the team to deliver outstanding solutions, to boost their performance and proficiency in agile development.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business representatives, product managers and designers to ensure that requirements are clearly articulated for the development team
- Lead agile initiatives from conception through to successful delivery, leading and facilitating all Scrum events
- Work with teams to groom, estimate and prioritise their backlog
- Build a trusting and safe environment facilitating discussion, decision making, and problem resolution
- Facilitate continuous improvement in development practices, product features and technical quality
- Provide coaching to the teams on agile practices, values and getting the most out of self-organisation
- Produce and analyse metrics and commentary on the team’s progress.
Skills and experience:
- Strong Scrum Master experience with a deep understanding of the intent and purpose of Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
- Experience delivering complex software projects
- Stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Experience coaching at an individual and team level
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your teams, managers and stakeholders.
The location of the role is in Palmerston North.
