Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Business Analyst. As a Business Intelligence Business Analyst, work collaboratively with the business to solicit current and future analytical needs through relevant facilitation techniques and stakeholder management skills, be able to relate these analytical needs to data sources and identify process and data quality changes as required.
You will utilise knowledge of the organisation, its technical assets and capabilities to provide input to solution recommendations and help bring the vision of being a data driven organisation using data to make strategic decisions, to life. You will be responsible for moving ideas through proposition and solution analysis, providing outcome tracking and performance metrics and validating that the solution has met business and customer needs.
About you:
- Experience in business analysis, specifically for analytical and reporting needs to deliver customer outcomes
- Sound understanding and experience in requirements elicitation, requirements analysis requirements management, data mapping and conceptual data model design
- Demonstrated ability to understand, analyse and communicate complex business data requirements and solutions
- Demonstrates mindset of agility and a flexible and adaptive working approach
- Experience working across the entire data life cycle within a BI environment
- Demonstrate an understanding of data design and modelling techniques required to support data analytics and insights
- Experience in analysis of data and querying databases using SQL is essential. Python, Databricks, DBT would be an advantage
- Experience in EDW data migration, Data Governance and Power BI is desirable
- Minimum 4 years’ experience.
The location of the role is in Auckland.
