Our client is looking for an IT Systems Manager. As the IT Systems Manager, you will be customer focused with a commercial mindset and come from a strong technical background. Reporting to the Head of Technology you will be primarily responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of core business systems as well as leading and mentoring a small team of Technical Support resources. You will also provide high level stakeholder engagement across a national business of geographically disperse office locations and work collaboratively with the head of Technology to implement their data and technology strategy. About the role:
- Proactively analyse usage of systems to develop recommendations for improvements
- Work collaboratively within the organisation concerning the policy and procedures for information retrieval, organised and secure data storage and transmission
- Ongoing support, education and group training as required to upskill users
- Drive the implementation and continuous development of information systems including communicating system changes or requirements
- Review systems to ensure people, business processes and systems are in alignment
- Generate and review documentation for system implementation and ongoing improvements;
- Conduct routine maintenance of systems as needed to assist with system security and integrity
- Effectively capture, report and manage all user issues with systems until they are effectively resolved
- Work in partnership with vendors to resolve problems and manage upgrades
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple priorities for the business
- Be personally responsible for understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures including taking reasonable care to ensure your actions and omissions do not impact the health and safety of others
- Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary to ensure that quality care services are consistently provided to all clients
- Participate in strategic planning and design meetings.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
