Our client is looking for an Operations Manager. Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for providing inspiring leadership to staff, exploring and pursuing new business opportunities and carrying out business functions that maintain or improve the existing quality of their services. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Take a lead role in the operations and culture of the organisation, fostering productivity, efficiency and high quality
- Contribute to strategic organisational decision making
- Manage and report on monthly KPIs
- Performance management and development of staff
- Coaching and mentoring of staff
- Sourcing and assessing available grants, tenders and funding opportunities – including ensuring continuation of funding for all existing Sydney sites
- Business development activities including program design across new industries
- Preparing grant, tender or funding submissions
- Review monthly finance reports, monitoring expenditure and ensuring a healthy financial position
- Relationship management, contract management and liaison with funding bodies
- Ensure the organisation meets all contractual obligations as outlined by funding bodies
- Preparation of Board Papers
- Lead or assist with recruitment as needed
- Program reporting as per contractual requirements
- Preparation of reports for stakeholders and partners
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
- Managing site leases or subleases
- Chairing of appropriate Steering Committee meetings
- Oversee and Manage internal projects
- Conduct audits on database and software
- Lead marketing and business development efforts
- Represent the organisation at roundtable and government meetings
- Provide support to the team to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and efficiency.
The location of the role is in Sydney.
