Our client is looking for a Principal Project Manager. You will be part their optimisation team transforming more than 100,000m2 of office space and storage facilities in multiple locations across the Auckland region. As such this is a great opportunity for a capable and experienced project manager who is looking to take the next step in delivering transformational projects of size, scale and complexity. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of major project works including project stakeholder engagement, establishment phases, market sounding with potential development partners through to development agreements and agreements to build and lease
- You will provide commercial advice during inception stages, develop budgets and proactively ensure effective cost controls are applied throughout the delivery of projects
- Through the application of industry best practice project management principles, techniques and systems, you are accountable for the successful delivery of the projects including implementation, procurement, monitoring progress, reporting on the status of projects throughout the delivery cycle and benefits realisation
- You will ensure projects comply with relevant legislative requirements and the organisation’s policies, frameworks and procedures including councils health and safety standards
- Connect and collaborate widely with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to build constructive and effective working relationships and build momentum for change.
The location of the role is in Auckland.
