Our client is looking for a Product Improvement Engineer to join their team and play a key role in continuing our successful drive for superior products. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring their product reliability remains second to none. To deliver this you will work cross-functionally, building strong relationships with R&D, product management, product support, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement.
You will: –
- Lead and coordinate efforts to understand and resolve all product reliability issues of potential significance
- Analyse repair data collected from our worldwide repair centres to determine product failure rates and the statistical significance of different failure causes.
To be successful in the role you’ll have: –
- A strong technical design or quality background – ideally in electronic product design for volume manufacture
- Proven analytical, statistical and data presentation skills (e.g. Power BI, Excel, etc.) with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams or projects
- Strong practical experience and be adept at hands-on problem solving to root cause.
The location of the role is in Hamilton.
