Our client is looking for a Regional IT Technical Project Manager. region. The ITPM is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of small to medium scale complex technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters, and requirements. Executes the project plans and activities following project management best practices ensuring quality and integrity of the information throughout the entire life cycle of the project. The ITPM will also work with the IT Technical Excellence Lead and Global Infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate handoff from the domain service owners to the ITS teams, to ensure global projects are translated to regional efforts and standards/projects are implemented in the region. Job responsibilities:
- Engage with IT project resources and stakeholders to gather requirements for proposed/requested projects and provide consistent stakeholder communicative updates throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Independently, or in partnership with department management, plans and organizes projects
- Determines time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects
- Identify cost savings activities within the team, working closely with Technical Support Lead and Support Excellence Lead to identify opportunities to achieve higher efficiency
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks
- Assists with formulating and defining the scope and objectives of the technical project
- Coach technical support staff with incidents and requests to ensure delivery of efficient and effective service
- Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with IT Leads/Management
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Provide technical leadership within the region to implement regional projects and regional aspects of global projects
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
